Child Proof

I am ready to move for a lot of reasons. One of the many is the fact that we never "child proofed" our kitchen. We put a removable gate up as a sort of band aid to the problem but sometimes it doesn't get closed. And when the gate doesn't get closed, Ethan knows exactly where he wants to be. And although he is new at this whole walking thing, he is suddenly a skilled athlete, he walks with purpose opens up his favorite cabinet in the whole house and finds these...



And there he would stay for the rest of his life... As long as the teddy puffs were bottomless. You see, teddy puffs are the sweetest thing Ethan has ever had. We offered him birthday cake, which he promptly tried to throw on the floor, but other than that, we don't give Ethan sugar. The teddy puffs have 3 grams of sugar in 100 pieces and Ethan thinks they are the most fabulous things he has ever eaten. And so he sits, for as long as it takes his mommy to take pictures of him and then he kicks and screams because his mommy has ruined his life by taking away his Teddy Puffs. Twenty seconds later he is over it and just wants to give kisses.
