I'm home grabbing a quick nap. Ashley is still at the hospital, and should be discharged Sunday morning. The story of Ethan's birth is certainly interesting, so when check back here soon for the long write-up.
Ethan is doing great! When he sleeps, he makes a soft grunting noise, almost like a sigh. This is abnormal, but likely related to his 36 week old lungs. He is being watched carefully in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit, but he is totally stable. As soon as he stops the grunting, he should be able to come home. All other lab test have come back clean, and his lungs are developed enough to cry loudly.
I'm headed back to relieve Ashley at NICU. Time for Mommy to get her sleep! Thanks to all of you for your prayers and encouragements!
